Recognizing that all projects change during their life cycle, eWeb
Interactive includes change as a part of any project! So much so, that
we allow our clients to view the development server as their solution is
being built so they can help us steer the project into its final form.
We believe client feedback is invaluable for ensuring satisfaction with
the final product. We do not want you to feel "stuck" with something
that "doesn't quite work" just because it was in the original project
specification. Here's how a typical project may progress:
- The "Vision" Phase
- Your company decides to target a concrete project for resolving a
set of needs. This could be a marketing initiative, public relations
initiative, or business process that seems ineffective.
- An initial meeting is scheduled with eWeb Interactive to
review the projects or needs and set goals for the project. Objective
requirements are defined.
- The "Requirements" Phase
- Based on the initial meeting, eWeb Interactive generates a project
proposal, potentially including three design mock-ups and proposed
project schedule.
- A second meeting is scheduled to review the details of the
project proposal, make appropriate adjustments and gain approval.
- The "Building" Phase
- Development begins. During development, a beta site is posted so
you can actually watch as your site progresses. eWeb Interactive's
"Project Manager" reports project status in real time.
- The "Tweaking" Phase
- If you see something that doesn't quite work as you expected, you
can tell us immediately, rather than waiting for the final product
delivery. eWeb Interactive supports your right to change requirements
during the project through our Change Management Protocol.
- The "Delivery" Phase
- When the site development is completed, eWeb Interactive can meet
with you again to demonstrate the completed site and ensure it complies
with stated requirements (and changes along the way).
- Once accepted, eWeb Interactive launches the site to a public
Web server and registers it with search engines.
- The "Support" Phase
- If desired, eWeb Interactive can provide any necessary training,
support, bug fixes, and enhancements as appropriate to keep your Web
Site performing.
